Army fitness, medical readiness, and profile references

Separate H2F doctrine, medical fitness standards, physical profiles, and body composition policy. Find the connected official Army references.

Choose the right reference

Fitness preparation, medical fitness, medical readiness, and body composition are connected subjects with different purposes. FM 7-22 explains the Holistic Health and Fitness system. AR 40-501 addresses medical fitness standards, while AR 40-502 organizes readiness and physical profiling. A test score cannot answer a clinical question, and a profile should not be interpreted from a generic training plan.

For a personal question, identify whether you need training context, a readiness record, a medical standard, or profile administration. Body composition also requires checking applicable Army directives alongside the regulation. This hub avoids reproducing thresholds or individual exemptions because those require the controlling guidance and the appropriate official process. Public calculators are practice aids; medical providers and units retain their responsibilities.
