Army Fitness Test (AFT) calculator

Estimate AFT event points from the same reference score tables used in Green Book’s signed-in H2F workspace. Enter age band, sex column, and raw performances; totals stay on this device and are never submitted to Army systems.

Last reviewed: 2026-07-20

How to use

  1. Select your age band and the score-table sex column that matches how your unit charts the event (M or F).
  2. Enter raw performances: MDL in pounds, HRP in reps, and timed events as mm:ss or total seconds.
  3. Review per-event points and the five-event total. Incomplete entries show a partial total only.
  4. Confirm pass/fail and alternate-event rules with your master fitness trainer and current official publications before test day.

Examples

Example (illustrative): 17–21 male column, MDL 140 lb, HRP 10, SDC 2:00, plank 1:30, 2MR 16:00 → table-driven points sum to 337 on the encoded charts.

Leave an event blank if you have not practiced it yet; the tool scores only the events you enter.

Methodology & source notes

  • Points come from Green Book’s table-driven AFT reference charts (per age-band columns), not a flat demo scale.
  • This page does not persist inputs to a server and does not write anonymous calculator history for public visitors.
  • Combat vs standard column toggles follow the same scoring-context rules as the authenticated calculator.
  • ACFT and Standing Power Throw are not scored here — Green Book tracks the five AFT events only.
