Delete your account

Last updated: June 21, 2026 · Service: www.greenbookmil.com

You can request deletion of your Green Book account and the personal data tied to it, or request deletion of specific data categories while keeping your account active. This page explains what is deleted, what may be retained, and how to start a request.

Delete specific data without deleting your account

You may request deletion of specific Green Book data categories without closing your account. Your sign-in and profile stay active; we remove only the categories you specify.

Examples of data you can request to delete:

  • Planner tasks
  • Notes
  • Feedback submissions
  • Referral data
  • Saved readiness history, if applicable
  • Saved AFT history, if applicable
  • Uploaded or imported documents, if applicable
  • Counseling, NCOER, MFR, or other helper drafts, if applicable

Email support@greenbookmil.com with subject line Partial Data Deletion Request. Include:

  • The email address on your Green Book account
  • Which data category or categories you want deleted
  • Optional: a date range or brief description of specific items (e.g. "all planner tasks before January 2026")

Partial deletion requests are processed within 30 days. Some records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, billing, legal compliance, or abuse prevention.

What we delete (full account)

When your account is deleted, we remove or anonymize user-owned data including:

  • Profile information (display name, rank, unit, preferences)
  • Tasks and planner items
  • Notes and linked content you created
  • Referral codes and referral activity tied to your account
  • User-generated content stored under your account (files, scans, roster entries, etc.)
  • Authentication records where applicable (your sign-in identity is removed from Supabase Auth)

What may be retained

  • Billing records required for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, and Stripe reconciliation (payment metadata — not full card numbers)
  • Security and abuse-prevention logs (e.g. IP timestamps, deletion audit entries) for a limited period
  • Data we must keep by law or to resolve disputes, enforce our terms, or protect the service

Deletion is permanent for app content. We cannot restore tasks, notes, or files after deletion completes.
