Delete your Green Book account
You can request permanent account deletion without emailing support. This guide summarizes the self-service flow; the authoritative steps live on the delete-account page.
Self-service deletion
Open /delete-account while signed in (or follow the link from profile settings). Confirm you understand deletion is permanent for workspace data tied to your account.
Some billing or audit records may be retained as described in the privacy policy — deletion removes app workspace content, not necessarily every legal record required for tax or fraud prevention.
Before you delete
Export anything you need for boards, PCS, or unit records through approved channels. Green Book drafts are convenience copies — not systems of record.
- Download or copy NCOER accomplishment notes if still needed.
- Cancel Premium through billing settings if active.
- Sign out of shared devices after deletion completes.
If deletion fails
Contact support@greenbookmil.com or the /contact form with the email on the account. Do not include classified details in support tickets.
Frequently asked questions
- Can my unit recover data after I delete?
- No. Deletion is intended to remove your workspace from Green Book systems per the delete-account workflow.
- Does deleting remove public guide pages?
- No. Public /army-tools and /support pages are marketing content — not user data.
