Terms of Service

Last updated: August 31, 2026 · Service: www.greenbookmil.com

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Green Book ("Green Book," "we," "us"), the independent military productivity workspace at www.greenbookmil.com and related official mobile builds. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Green Book.

1. Independent product (not official Army or DoD)

Green Book is a commercial productivity workspace. It is not an official U.S. Army, Department of Defense, or government system, and it is not endorsed by those organizations. References to Army programs, forms, or publications are for descriptive convenience only. Outputs from calculators, helpers, guides, and drafts are educational aids. Verify them against official publications and your chain of command before any official action.

2. Eligibility and account use

You must be able to form a binding contract and must provide accurate account information. You are responsible for activity under your credentials, for keeping passwords and session tokens private, and for signing out on shared devices. Do not share an account across a unit unless a documented team-workspace feature is designed for that sharing.

If you believe an account was compromised, reset the password and email contact@greenbookmil.com with subject line "Security incident report." Do not email passwords or full session tokens.

3. Unclassified use only

Green Book is for unclassified personal and small-team productivity. Do not enter classified information, Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), export-controlled data, troop movements, unit locations, or other operationally sensitive details. Use official government systems when your mission or unit policy requires them.

You are responsible for what you store. If local policy forbids a category of data on a commercial tool, do not put that data in Green Book.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service to store or transmit classified, CUI, or unauthorized information
  • Probe, disrupt, or overload the service, or attempt to bypass authentication or access controls
  • Scrape, harvest, or republish other users' workspace content
  • Impersonate Green Book, a government agency, or another user
  • Use the service to violate law, unit policy, or another person's rights
  • Resell access or treat Green Book as an official system of record

We may suspend or terminate accounts that appear to abuse the service, create security risk, or violate these Terms.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the tasks, notes, drafts, files, and other content you create. You grant Green Book a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate the service for you (including backups, security review, and support when you ask for help). We do not sell user workspace content and do not use it to train third-party AI models.

You represent that you have the right to store the content you upload and that it does not include classified or otherwise prohibited information.

6. Billing and Premium

Core modules are available on a free account. Premium subscriptions and one-time purchases, when offered, are processed by Stripe. Green Book does not store full payment card numbers. Premium checkout and ads are not enabled until separately announced on the site. When billing is live, plan prices, refund windows, grace periods, and lifetime-license rules are those published in the Privacy Policy and on the pricing page at the time of purchase.

Cancellation, refund, and lifetime-access questions should go to contact@greenbookmil.com with subject line "Billing refund request," your account email, plan type, and purchase date.

7. Public guides and tools

Public pages under /army-tools, /tools, and /support are original educational copy and anonymous calculators. They are not official Army training, not a substitute for DTMS, IPPS-A, GCSS-Army, or other systems of record, and not a promise of a passing score, promotion, or inspection result.

8. Intellectual property

The Green Book name, site design, original guides, and software are owned by Green Book or its licensors. Official Army publications, forms, and marks remain the property of the U.S. Government. Do not treat Green Book materials as official regulation text.

9. Third-party services

The service relies on third parties such as hosting, authentication, analytics, and (when enabled) payment processing. Their terms and privacy practices apply to those interactions. See the Privacy Policy for the current list of processors and cookie categories.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

Green Book is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that scores, drafts, checklists, or suggestions are complete, current, or fit for a particular official action. We do not warrant uninterrupted access. Always verify outputs before you rely on them.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Green Book is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost duty time, missed suspenses, or official actions taken based on product output. Our aggregate liability for claims arising from the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for Premium in the 12 months before the claim or (b) fifty U.S. dollars ($50). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; those limitations apply only to the extent permitted.

12. Termination and account deletion

You may stop using the service at any time. Self-service and email deletion options, timelines, and retention exceptions are described on Delete account and in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or delete an account that violates these Terms, creates security risk, or remains inactive where continued hosting is not reasonably required.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms as the product, billing, or legal requirements change. Material changes will be noted by updating the "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Contact and related policies

Questions about these Terms: contact@greenbookmil.com or the contact page.
