Privacy and security in Green Book
Green Book stores your workspace data in your account under industry-standard hosting. This guide explains what belongs in the product, what does not, and where to read the full privacy policy.
Unclassified use only
Do not enter classified information, Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), or operationally sensitive details into Green Book. Use official systems of record when your unit requires them.
Counseling drafts, roster imports, and scan captures may contain personally identifiable information — handle exports according to local policy.
Your account, your workspace
Tasks, drafts, scores, and uploaded documents stay tied to your authenticated account. Green Book does not publish user workspace content to the public web or search engines.
Public marketing pages (/army-tools, /about, /support guides) contain only original Green Book copy — never live soldier data.
Security practices to use
Use a strong password or passkey where supported. Sign out on shared devices. Review active sessions from profile settings if you suspect unauthorized access.
- Enable device lock on phones used for Green Book.
- Do not screenshot roster or counseling drafts into unapproved channels.
- Delete local data before turning in a device per unit policy.

- No. See the privacy policy for how account and analytics data are handled. User workspace content is not sold.
- Where is data hosted?
- Green Book uses managed cloud infrastructure documented in the privacy policy. Do not use the product for data your unit requires to stay on government networks unless local policy explicitly allows it.
